"Hertog Ice Cream" by Bert Teunissen
Bert won the Expertise Award with these images he shot for Hertog Ice Cream. The campaign was for the promotion of the chocolate and strawberry flavors. The delicate lighting in these shots combined with the composition & styling is reminiscent of a classical dutch paintings. One of my all-time favorite still-life shoots, for sure.
Bert is a very sought-after advertising photographer, and has published many books of which the “Domestic Landscapes” is a true testament to his portrait photography. Pick up your limited edition!
Photography: Bert Teunissen.  Post Production / Retouching: DDNA.
Update:  Bert Just confirmed that he has an exhibition in the Ethnograhic Museum in Zagreb, Croatia to celebrate Craotia’s entry to the EU. Their Minister of Culture and the Dutch ambassador will open his show.  Pretty big deal. Congrats Bert!! The show will open next month; June 13th @ 1PM. Go check it out, and have some cocktails with Bert after the show.

"Hero Babies" by Paul Ruigrok.
These images where created to for a relatively new Dutch phone company. The goal of the campaign was to show that, even though the company was only 1 year old, they where already very established. The countless award-winning Creative Director, Diederick Hillenius, came up with the absolutely brilliant idea to use a 1 year old baby (they casted a girl for these shots) to do things that a baby at that age normally couldn’t do. Paul Ruigrok repared this shoot into the greatest details and, as always, delivered. The quality of his photography is second to none, and working with him has always inspired me. Paul also is a successful commercial director.
A lot went in to post production, we worked about a week on each piece which are composed out of many shots to create convincing final artwork which has won Paul & Diederick many, many awards.

"Mosquito" for agency Alfred, Holland.
We created this visual with Erik Hijweege. It was conceived by Alfred, and used for a Vapona Mosquito repellant advertising campaign. Erik was the creative Director and shot the textures we mapped on to the 3D wireframe model we created. The final result is the mosquito, completely created in CGI & Photoshop. The campaign has won several awards, including a nomination for the Campaign Photo Awards, a Bronze PANL Award, and a nomination at the New York Photo Festival.

"Dutch Still Life in Plastic" by Richard Kuiper.
These still life images created by Richard Kuiper are completely composed out of ‘Kitch’ plastic items, and are inspired by the classical 17th century Dutch painters. With some research you could even find some classical still-life paintings he based his composition off. To really appreciate the detail and creativity that went into composing his pieces you have to see his work up close. I added some details of his work to show what I mean. Go visit one of his exhibitions to see for yourself. Prints for sale at his gallery: http://www.richardkuiper.com/
